There are three (3) basic steps to follow*

1. Enroll into Part A. (Hospital Coverage) Most Medicare eligible recipients are automatically enrolled after qualifying with 40 quarters or 10 years of Social Security Tax payments. We can check to see if you qualify for 'auto enrollment'.

2. Enroll into Part B. (Medical Coverage) Contact The Social Security Administration and apply. Filing can be completed by mail, online or in-person. Some Medicare Eligible recipients will be automatically enrolled (e.g. Railroad Employees, persons receiving Social Security Disability benefits).

3. Enroll into Part D. (Prescription Drug Coverage) Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS ) require Medicare eligible recipients to maintain 'credible' prescription drug coverage (i.e. coverage equal to or greater than the CMS standard). This can typically be accomplished by belonging to an Employee Group Health Plan or alike. However, if you do not maintain 'credible' coverage you will incur a Late Enrollment Penalty when you apply for enrollment into Medicare. The penalty is a lifetime assessment. *Enroll into All-Inclusive Medicare Advantage (Part C)

By enrolling into a Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) plan you get the "Bundle or Happy Meal" benefit.

Plans will include Part A, B, & D all in one.
